You will know that it is our policy, wherever possible, to devote funds raised by events and donations, to research into the causes, treatment and, hopefully, cure of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.  Accordingly, we try to cover our administrative costs from subscription revenue, and the level of subscriptions (£15 or $40) is based on the assumption that all members pay their subscriptions regularly.

For several years now, our accounts show that an increasing proportion of admin. costs have had to be met from donations ~ this is due to the fact that a substantial number of members are not up-to-date with their payments.

At the risk of offending you, I would ask that you please check  that your payments have not fallen behind.  If you change to payment by Standing Order, you can be assured that your subscriptions will be paid on a regular basis.  A form can be found towards the back of the August edition of PSC NEWS.  

We are a very small organisation, with no paid staff or office premises, and we try to do a lot with very little ~ our subscription income is absolutely essential to our success.
